ガラスに魅せられ、1996年に青樹舎硝子工房を開設、皆様に支えていただき現在に至っています。作家活動、企業からの注文制作を中心に活動しています。吹きガラスやキルンワークを中心とした熱成形と、付随する研磨加工を得意としています。

好きで始めたことを仕事にすることができた私には、ガラスが楽しみであることから離れることはありません。思えば、私は作っていて楽しいことを唯一のテーマとしてきたようです。
暮らしにこんなものがあったらいいなとか、美しさとは、存在感とは、取り組む大きなテーマもあるはずですが、その上にも下にも、前にも後ろにも、楽しさに包まれて生まれたものでありたいです。

I was able to make a career out of what I started out liking, and I have never stopped enjoying glass. Looking back, enjoying the making process seems to have always been my only theme. There certainly could be grander purposes, such as to seek for items that will enrich our lives, or the pursuit of beauty, or presence, but first and foremost, I want to create something that is born out of enjoyment.
